It's January 2023. One dark winter night, swiping on a dating app to spend time. The swiping is interrupted when the mailbox bangs open. Paper coupons for pizza float across the floor. The coupons end up on the fridge door - once again, just waiting to expire.


When swiping and coupons accidentally met, the first spark was ignited. We started wondering if the excitement typical of dating apps could also be applied to coupons—something everyone loves but whose potential, in our opinion, had not yet been fully harnessed for the modern era.
"Why hasn’t this been invented before?" was our reaction. This sparked the idea for an app based on swiping coupons—one that aligns with modern phone usage habits and today’s desire for intense and rewarding emotional experiences. We wanted to build a completely new kind of bridge that connects businesses and consumers in a fun and effortless way. The spark turned into a flame, and Coubonga was born.

We rolled up our sleeves and by February 2024, the Coubonga app was launched. Today, we already have more than 400 different partner companies that trust Coubonga as a sales driver and leverage it in their business. Now, our idea has been turned into action, and the flame has grown into a blazing fire.

It could, and why hasn't this been invented before, was our answer. The idea of an app based on token swapping was born, taking into account consumers' phone behaviour, which today is intense and based on the experience of rewarding emotional experiences. We wanted to build a completely new bridge that connects businesses and consumers in an easy and fun way. The spark turned into a flame and Coubonga was born.
We rolled up our sleeves and a year later, in February 2024, the Coubonga app was finally launched. At this point, we already have more than 400 different partner companies who rely on Coubonga's sales hammer and use Coubonga for their business. At this point, thoughts have been translated into action, and the flame has grown into a blaze.
